Although the job description is a good match for my areas of expertise,
I am not looking for a position at this time. incicentally, although I work with
people in Ohio, I am physically in Montreal. Such is work in the age of the internet.

Hi Donna!

I've been too lazy to update the tar archive but I send out
these installation notes (e.g., for Mac OS X and Linux) at:
 	http://www.acm.org/perlman/stat/installation.txt
I really should update those files, but it's not in my plans.
Maybe I'll do it for the 30th anniversary of "desc" this
October.

I am sorry, but the site below does not have specific HCI
content and will not be included in the HCI Bibliography.

Hi Chris,

Bet you didn't think you'd get a BuckCHI enquiry today.
I was visiting Amazon.com and noticed on the Associates page
that they have been sending BuckHCI checks for referral fees.
I think it's $275 since 2004, but their report indicates
that they sent a check for 358.35 on 1/1/08.
I have no idea to where.

So I was wondering:

1. Is the PO Box 20817 is still active?
2. Is anyone receiving checks from Amazon?
3. What happened to the balance at Ohio Savings when BuckCHI shut down?

I have an inquiry in to Amazon. If they help me get things straightened out,
I was wondering where to send the money? ACM? Or maybe the local HFES chapter?

Hope all's well.

Gary

Seems appropriate.

Please start by filling out the program form to get into the HCIBIB.
 	http://www.hcibib.org/suggest.cgi?category=education:programs
using this or some other general page:
 	http://www.cs.washington.edu/research/hci.intro.html
 	dub.washington.edu
(one on MS or PhD programs would be better than the above, which could be added here):
 	http://www.hcibib.org/suggest.cgi?category=hci-sites:laboratories
and I'll put in a link to the hcibib entry for the program/lab/center.

If it helps, our BuckCHI account was:
 	Ohio Savings, Columbus, OH 650 020 233
but the bank is now called AmTrust,
2000 Henderson Rd.
