can not find /bin/make, where "make" was expected to be found. But since "make" is giving you that message, it must be somewhere. So, rather than help you with your problem, I have tried to make all the changes and make a new stat.tar.Z. http://www.hcibib.org/stat/xyzzy/newstat.tar.Z Please give that a try and let me know if you have any problems. After typing "make" (or gmake), your programs should be in the DESTDIR directory specified in the makefile, and you should be able to run make test which will run the programs against a known set of examples. The test should take less than a second. I'm hoping that our efforts will make things easier for a lot of people.
