Dear Gary,

Thank you for both of your emails, and for your efforts in adding the Sprin=
ger titles to the HCI Bibliography - this is greatly appreciated.

With regards to HCI-related journals which you may wish to add, here are th=
ose of ours which are primarily HCI or have links to HCI:

Cognition, Technology and Work (10111) - springer.com page<http://www.sprin=
ger.com/computer/hci/journal/10111> - SpringerLink page<http://link.springe=
r.com/journal/10111>
Personal and Ubiquitous Computing (779) - springer.com page<http://www.spri=
nger.com/computer/hci/journal/779> - SpringerLink page<http://link.springer=
.com/journal/779>
User Modeling and User-Adapted Interaction (11257) - springer.com page<http=
://www.springer.com/computer/hci/journal/11257> - SpringerLink page<http://=
link.springer.com/journal/11257>
Communications in Mobile Computing (13678) - springer.com page<http://www.s=
pringer.com/computer/hci/journal/13678> - SpringerLink page<http://link.spr=
inger.com/journal/13678>
Virtual Reality (10055) - springer.com page<http://www.springer.com/compute=
r/image+processing/journal/10055> - SpringerLink page<http://link.springer.=
com/journal/10055>

I have contacted our manager of product data about your comments on the cat=
egorisations on SpringerLink (i.e. titles within the HCIS not displaying wh=
en filtering by subdiscipline HCI...). I'm hoping that this will be resolve=
d soon.

I have also forwarded your other comments on to the development team for Sp=
ringerLink.

Thanks again for your help with this.

Kind regards, and best wishes,
Ben

Hello again, Ben,

The isolated work of bibliographer never ends, not even on weekends.

I have a good script for pulling in books from the Springer site.
In creating it, I wanted to give you some feedback on ways to improve it.
I found your html generally good for pulling out information, and noted the=
 use of schema.org markup.

1. The number of pages in a book is not noted anywhere. To get an estimate,=
I am using the last page mentioned in the table of contents.

2. I found the Human-Computer Interaction Series, but only by chance.
If I browse
        Discipline: Computer Science
        Subdiscipline: HCI
        Content Type: Book Series
I find four series, but not the above HCI series!
International Series on Biometrics - 6 items, outdated 2003-2006
Kluwer International Series on Computer Supported Cooperative Work =
- 2 items, outdated 2005
Progress in Communication Networks - 1 item, 2001, not vaguely rela=
vant to HCI
Human-centred Systems - 15 items, but the newest is 1995 So, the id=
entification of HCI series is badly -- no, completely -- broken.

3. Sometimes, some authors of chapters are not shown in the TOC. For exampl=
e:
        http://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-540-73078-1/page/1
See the entry for Pages 107-116. Only 4 of 5 authors are listed, but the ve=
ry next chapter shows 5 authors. In the html, there is a hidden option to s=
how all authors, but it does not appear. I tried IE9, Firefox 16.0.2, and C=
hrome 24.0.1312.52 m.

4. It would be nice if there was an option to view the entire TOC on one pa=
ge.

5. In the display of HCI Books, newest first, books for the same conference=
 should be adjacent.
If dates do not include the month and year of a conference (or maybe they u=
se the release date), than sorting by year and ISBN might help.

All for now. I am up to 123 books.
