Gary,

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate the information you sent. We are
currently investigating alternatives, but are still interested in the
possibility of having you teach the Practical Usability Evaluation class.

You mentioned that January would be a difficult time for you to get away. Is
there a better time?

Hmmm. So we might have to consider breaking it into two days if we really
want 50 people to take the class. We are hoping we could hold the class in
January. Would that work for you? Also, do you have a course description and
syllabus?

Hello Gary Perlman,

I am the manager of a UI Design group at Intuit, a software company in
Mountain View, California. I am looking to bring someone to Intuit to teach
discount usability methods to a group of 20 to 50 product developers and
marketers.

Intuit has an excellent reputation for being customer oriented. We have
beautiful usability labs and excellent customer research programs. What we
don't have is a product development process that makes use of quick
usability evaluation methods that allow for iterative design refinement. I
am looking for someone who could bring such information to Intuit.

You taught "Practical Usability Evaluation" at CHI 97. I thought perhaps you
or someone you could recommend might be interested in teaching a similar
course here at Intuit. I would appreciate any help you could offer.

Sincerely,

Grace Pariante
